Metroid, in my opinion, is one of Nintendo’s best franchises. Too bad it’s not as popular as Mario or Zelda (or Fire Emblem, or Splatoon, or Pokémon, or Animal Crossing).

Samus Returns and AM2R gameplay is from BeardBear.
The Super Mario World clip is from Nintendo Unity.
I used a short clip of Samus performing the space jump in Super Metroid from heorotlinea.
Most Metroid Prime gameplay is from Noire Blue.
Sonic Generations gameplay is from LETSPLAYmarkus.
