OG Fortnite Is (Kind Of) Back
OG Fortnite is kind of back. I haven’t had this much fun playing the game in a while. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug.
That, or maybe it was genuinely fun when the loot pool was less diverse (devoid of garbage like DMRs and overpowered items like the updated Slurp Juice), there weren’t tons of lame collaborations with popular franchises, bosses with sought-after mythic weapons weren’t all over the map, and there wasn’t a dull, formulaic strategy to winning a game, (i.e. getting the Mythic MK-Seven rifle, then getting a full stack of shockwave grenades, then getting Slurp Juice, then getting a Storm Forecast tower, etc.).
