😍 What to see in Alanya in one day? I made a list of the most beautiful places, made a ready-made route for self-examination. All the sights of Alanya can be seen in 1 day or spread over several. The main beach, viewing platforms, a fortress - everything is most important here. And also places that are not in standard guidebooks of the same type - and it is they that reflect the spirit of the city.
🚌 You can get to Alanya (Antalya province, Turkey) from any resort by minibuses. They will take you to the central station. If you are coming from Avsallar, Turkler, Konakli or Okurcalar, get off earlier - at Cleopatra Beach.
👣 My itinerary in Alanya for 1 day:
1️⃣ Cleopatra Beach and Promenade. The main city beach of Alanya with blue water, Damlatas caves and a walking area. On the promenade, you can book excursions in Alanya or paragliding. Sun loungers are easy to rent from beach cafes (good price - 10 liras).
2️⃣ Alanya Gardens. The promenade flows smoothly into a park with fountains, benches and swings. Free admission.

4️⃣ Cable car. The best viewpoints in Alanya are located on the mountain. The cable car (Alanya Teleferik) was built in 2017. The funicular connects Cleopatra Beach with the fortress on the mountain. Travel time is 10 minutes.
Adult ticket prices in 2021:
Alanya cable car: round trip - 33 lira, one way - 26 lira.
Alanya fortress (citadel + paid area) - 30 liras.
5️⃣ Alanya Fortress (Alanya Kalesi) is a visiting card of the city, its main attraction, a magnet for tourists and the best observation deck. The length of the walls is 6.5 km.
Opening hours of the Alanya fortress in 2021:
Summer season: from April 1 to October 31 - 8.00-19.00.
Winter season: from November 1 to March 31 - 10.00-16.00.
In summer, the cable car runs until 23.00.

6️⃣ Red Tower (Kızıl Kule). The main attraction of Alanya, surrounded by a fortress wall. An ethnographic museum is located inside the Red Tower. Nearby is the shipbuilding museum at the docks. Walking the wall is free.
7️⃣ Alanya Lighthouse. A working lighthouse that can be approached free of charge.
8️⃣ Port of Alanya. A yacht excursion can be booked at the port. During the boat trip you will see the caves of Alanya, the fortress on the mountain, the embankment and other sights of the city.

🗺️ I tried to build the finished route in Alanya as logically and consistently as possible. I advise you to end your walk on Ataturk Boulevard. Here you can eat and go shopping. From the boulevard, it is convenient to turn to the train station to take a minibus and return to the hotel.
