‼️It’s often that hip flexors are blamed for being the cause of anterior hip pain but they are frequently blamed as a cause of pain when really they’re just part of a picture.

✅The hip joint is often symptomatic in a way that you can easily think your hip flexors are tight or painful. They certainly seldom are the main character that is causing the issue.

Sometimes hip flexors can be a painful source, whether through impingement or tendinopathy, so frequently rehab programmes will include hip flexor work, but not because they’re the sole cause of the hip pain but often part of how the symptoms manifest and what we need to address.

Trying this exercise as part of a well rounded and well reasoned rehab programme may be beneficial but it’ll never be as simple as one exercise is the fix.
