Broadcom Stock Analysis (AVGO)
Today we have one of the better known semiconductor companies: Broadcom.
They currently have a P/E of 69, which is nice, with 17 forward which is actually decent.
Their dividend yield is 3.38% with a payout ratio of 205%.
Revenue and earnings are up slightly to $23.9 Billion and $3 Billion respectively.
The balance sheet looks decent with a stockholder's equity of $23.9 Billion.
For a growth investor there really isn't quite enough growth here.
For a dividend investor the dividend yield is actually quite nice but the payout ratio is pretty concerning. Definitely worth a deeper look if you wanted to invest in this sector.
For a value investor the balance sheet is pretty nice, the forward P/E is pretty nice, the revenue growth is pretty nice and the dividend is a bonus on top of that. If you can look past the payout ratio this company is definitely worth investigating further.
