New Nintendo Switch OLED Model
Rumors of a New Switch OLED model release is around the corner! The new console is expected to support 4K when docked and a larger 7-inch, 720p Samsung OLED display. An updated Switch console would be the ideal platform for the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. Nintendo Switch Pro in 2021. Nintendo Switch Pro in 2022.

“Maybe it'll be called the Switch 2. Switch Pro. New Nintendo Switch. Super Nintendo Switch. Super Nintendo Switch XL. Call it whatever you want, but it's time for new Nintendo hardware to emerge. Nintendo's four-year-old-plus Switch hardware still doesn't have a successor yet. The relatively low-key E3 edition of Nintendo Direct was full of games, including WarioWare, a new 2D Metroid game and another teaser for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 coming in 2022. But hardware wasn't there -- unless you count a retro Zelda Game & Watch. Reported Switch Pro upgrades promise a new Nvidia Tegra processor, 4K TV-connected gaming when docked and a larger OLED display. Hopefully, Nintendo eventually upgrades the not-exactly-great Joy-Con controllers, too.”
