From GGRECON:
"The idea of multiplayer in Breath of the Wild was first floated by a competition. Last November, someone offered wannabe devs a whopping $10,000 if they could create a working BotW multiplayer. There are a couple of caveats, like it being playable anywhere on the map, being free-to-play, and supporting at least two players. Posting on YouTube, Alex Mangue showed off an impressive (if a little jittery) multiplayer mod for Breath of the Wild. Mangue reiterates that this is an "early version" and a "work in progress" - suggesting there's more to be done."
From INPUT:
"One gaming tech YouTuber did a burn-in test on the new $350 OLED Nintendo Switch by leaving one image on its screen for over 1,800 hours. “I decided to run a little experiment. I decided I was going to leave one image on screen for one week to try my best to ruin this OLED screen. A true stress test. Well, one week turned into two, which turned into about 11,” Wulff explained in the YouTube video he made chronicling the experiment.“ If you’re worried about OLED burn-in on your Switch because you have like 2,000 hours in a game, I think you can relax a little bit,” Wulff stated."
From NintendoLife:
"Remember the shock of Sony entering the handheld market with the PSP? Many experts predicted that the sleek console would spell the end of Nintendo's dominance in the portable sector, and while the PSP was undoubtably a commercial success, it wasn't enough to unseat Nintendo's DS, which sold a whopping 154.02 million units worldwide (compared to the estimated 82 million units of the PSP). Sony's successor, the PS Vita, was far less popular, with estimated sales of between 10 and 15 million – a fact which saw the Japanese tech giant pull out of the handheld arena to instead focus its energies on its home console line – which, based on the robust performance of the PS4, was a wise move. but designers Andrea Gallarini and Nicola Pezzotti have cooked up some concept renders which show just what a 'next gen' PlayStation Portable could look like."
From CBR.COM:
"Modern releases fare better than their predecessors. amiibo may be hard to find initially for those who didn't secure preorders or arrive at stores early enough on launch day, but usually, they're readily available for a few months afterward. Despite Nintendo's efforts to keep amiibo available to consumers, many have ditched the hassle of trying to decipher when, or if, an item will be in stock or become available again. Such individuals opt instead to purchase bootleg amiibo cards of their favorite characters."
From GAMINGBIBLE:
"Yes, the Switch with all of its is swanky and even swankier now with the features of the OLED version. Yet, it's unfortunate to find out that scammers have tried to flimflam fans into purchasing "games" from a website that looks exceedingly like the actual Switch eshop. Nintendo has identified the offending website and so it is hoped that no more players are tricked into losing their money or their personal information. "We have confirmed the existence of a fake site that impersonates the Nintendo homepage. These fake sites have nothing to do with us," said the company in an announcement to its Japanese website (translated through Google Translate). "The fake site confirmed this time uses our logo illegally, making it look as if it is operated by us, and purchase our products such as Nintendo Switch at a significantly discounted price."
