We are at the University Hospital in Lund (Universitetssjukhuset i Lund), a city in southern Sweden, in the Scania region. The film opens with three men heading towards the University Hospital. The camera shows us the buildings and the courtyard, then focuses on the entrance and the people there. We see a panoramic view of the city from one of the hospital floors, followed by doctors gathered in a patient's room.
The scene changes to shots of the hospital cafeteria, as well as the exterior areas and buildings with the sign "Lasarettet i Lund." We then see views of the area with cars from that era coming and going, along with the hospital entrance with taxis and patients waiting.
