What a game I watched with @bilalbinsaqibofficial I can’t believe what we saw!! Our team was extraordinary today!! I want us to go back to Australia for this final. But he thinks otherwise 😭
It’s amazing to see our wounded tigers bounce back like the unstoppable champions that they are! 💚 🇵🇰 Pakistan registered a comprehensive win at the Sydney Cricket Ground, becoming the first team to Qualify for the Final at MCG. They had an initial string of losses in the tournament and were ruled out by most, but Pakistan has bounced back strongly and defeated Group A’s topper New Zealand in the Semi-Final!
Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bat first, which was the right decision but New Zealand failed to execute it. Shaheen Afridi sent back Finn Allen in his first over, and after that, Pakistani bowlers didn’t let the Kiwis get on the Top. From Naseem till Wasim, all bowlers chipped in and played their part, and New Zealand despite losing 4 wickets only could just manage to make 152 runs.
It was a comfortable chase for Pakistan, but a very enjoyable one as we saw the superstar openers Babar and Rizwan back in form again! Delivering as per our hopes, they chased beautifully and reached a 100-run partnership. After them, the young but immensely talented Muhammad Haris contributed important runs once again which helped Pakistan sail to victory 👏🏻
With the Top order now performing and the fielding department also in check, it seems like there is nothing to worry about for us in the final this Sunday. But, our boys need to keep their calm and focus on the target, giving their 100% on Sunday, no matter what team they’re playing against.
I am totally cheering for India tomorrow as I want us all to enjoy a thrilling Final between the two giants, India and Pakistan. Of course, I’m rooting for Pakistan to WIN it in the End, and become T20 World Cup CHAMPIONS once again after exactly 13 years!!
