2024 Paris Olympics: Athletics Debrief
I sat down recently with Jimson Lee, Mike Hurst and Ryan Banta to discuss our analysis of and takeaways from the Athletics competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics. While we wanted to discuss Athletics as a whole, we spent the majority of our time looking at the sprint events, as this is our area of expertise and the biggest source of our enthusiasm.
Many of the top sprint performers came through in the clutch, but there were also a good number of surprises. The Athletics competition helped to reaffirm the excitement generated by Athletics / Track and Field and certainly set the stage for the next Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028 (with the help of Tom Cruise)!
