Widely regarded as one of the most accomplished and influential directors in the history of cinema, Bergman discussed a range of topics including whether there is room for competition in art, what he looks for in films, the state of European cinema and America's "occupation" of European filmmaking, why he decided to stop making films, and his love of theatre.
