A compilation of reports covering the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon (also known as the 1982 Lebanon War), from the attempted assassination of Israeli diplomat Shlomo Argov on 3 June 1982, through the Siege of Beirut, to the evacuation of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) in August that year. Comprised of nearly 40 news reports, the compilation features footage of intense frontline fighting as well as coverage of the war's effects in the region and the wider world. It also includes footage of, interviews with, and speeches by key decision-makers including Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, Defence Minister Ariel Sharon, PLO chairman Yasser Arafat, US President Ronald Reagan, and soldiers of the IDF and PLO.
