BABY RATTLESNAKE
Came across a baby Northern Pacific Rattlesnake (Crotalus oreganus) while rock climbing at Terra Nova, Oregon. I thought I was hearing a Cicada, but then froze when I realized there shouldn't be any Cicadas up there. Carefully looked around and spotted this little one coiled up in the grass just off the trail buzzing its two little beads for all it was worth. I carefully put a few more feet between us and then it calmed down and crossed the trail. I used the zoom feature on my phone #googlepixel7pro to capture this video.
