A first person view of what it's like to ride the Alpine Slide at Mt. Hood Skibowl at full-tilt-boogie from top to bottom!
The dual-track Alpine Slide at Mt. Hood Skibowl sends you riding own a half-mile of twists and turns through mountain meadows before dropping you back off in the base area of Skibowl West. The side-by-side tracks let you ride alongside (or race) family and friends.
You ride up the mountain on up the mountain on the double chair lift and then you drop 350 feet over the half-mile ride as you wind your way down the track. The system is simple, you pull back on the stick to brake and push forward on it to go. You can absolutely fly out of the track so you need to lean into those corners.
