This one minute Onshape Lesson provides a quick overview of drawing polygons when creating 2D sketches to be later converted to 3D features.. Onshape is a free cloud based 3D modeling program used for engineering design and 3D printing.
There are two ways to define the size of the polygon, both in relation to the radius of a circle
When starting the Polygon Command you choose the method, inscribed or circumscribed
Inscribed defines the polygon constructed tangent to the inside of the circle
Circumscribed defines the polygon constructed tangent to the outside of the circle
The last step is to choose the number of sides of the polygon
