This one minute Onshape Lesson provides a quick overview of creating a chamfer feature on a 3D object by inputting the distance and the angle for the chamfer. Onshape is a free cloud based 3D modeling program used for engineering design and 3D printing.
Click on the Chamfer tool from the toolbar
Choose the method for creating the chamfer from the list, in this case Two Distances
Click on the edge of the object that I want to chamfer
Enter the two distances with the keyboard into the dialog box for the chamfer command
If I need to reverse the application of the two distances use the arrow in the dialog box
Click on any additional edges that you want the same chamfer repeated
