This one minute Onshape Lesson provides a quick overview of creating a chamfer feature on a 3D object by inputting the distance and the angle for the chamfer. Onshape is a free cloud based 3D modeling program used for engineering design and 3D printing.
Click on the Chamfer tool from the toolbar
Choose the method for creating the chamfer from the list, in this case Distance and Angle
Click on the edge of the object to be chanfered
Enter the distance and the angle from the keyboard
Use the arrow in the dialog box to reverse the direction of the chamfer if needed
Choose additional edges on the object to add multiple chamfers the same size
