How to install the (secret) One UI version of Google Messages - Enable RCS on ANY Galaxy device!
Hi there Pros! Today I will show you how to install the secret One UI version of Google Messages!
The best things about this special version are that:
- it has RCS enabled by default,
- it will get the features from Samsung Messages. And the best? It will be
- it is already native in Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold/Flip, etc.
NOTE: There is no ARM .apk available yet. This method will only work for ARM64 devices (for now).

🧐 Steps:
1. If you already have it installed, uninstall Google Messages.

2. Go to APKMirror and search for Google Messages.
3. Tap on the most recent version of the app. It's usually the one on the top (for example, 9.3.002 is newer than 9.2.030).
4. Scroll down to see all the available downloads.
5. Tap on the "(...phone_samsung_dynamic)" variant. If there is no such variant, you may try installing an older version or wait until it'll be uploaded.
6. Tap on "DOWNLOAD APK BUNDLE".
7. Launch the Google Play Store and search for "APKMirror".
8. Install APKMirror Installer (Offical).
9. Launch APKMirror Installer.
10. Tap on Browse files.
11. Allow all the permissions it asks.
12. Go to the directory where the .apkm file is and tap on it.
13. Tap on Install package.
14. Tap on Install app.
15. Turn on "Allow from this source" and go back.
16. Tap on Install app again.
17. When a pop-up appears, tap on Install.
18. Launch Google Messages.
19. Allow all permissions and set it as your default SMS app.
20. Close the app from the Recents menu and launch it again.

21. Tap on the triple dots on the top right and go to Settings.
22. Tap on Chat features.
23. Turn on "Enable chat features".
24. When the pop-up appears, tap on Allow.
25. Tap on "Verify your number" and insert your number.
26. Wait until the Status changes to "Connected". If it doesn't, restart your device and try again.
27. Go back to Settings and then go to Advanced.
28. Tap on Text on Galaxy devices.
29. Turn on "Allow Bixby and text on Galaxy devices".
30. Close the app from the Recents menu and launch it again.
31. Enjoy the new Messages app!
