Other people have afforded LOTN in chimps before, but never before r100 (unless someone did it with the round stacking bug, but considering that basically gives you infinite money for free, I'm not counting that).

Q: What is the first strike bug?
A: Using one projectile to pop both the BAD and DDTs inside the BAD (via layerskip) while leaving the ZOMGs alive gives you the amount of money popped from the whole BAD. This is frequently used when first striking r100, hence its name, but it also works with other abilities like tsar bomba, tech terror, and even MOAB assassin.
Q: Is this legit? How can I trust you?
A: Technically this is not legit in the sense that I abuse a bug, where I make extra money from regrows. There is a very good explanation about it here: • [BTD6] You Can Generate Extra Cash In...
(essentially you try to pop every regrow higher than a pink into a pink, have it fully regrow back, and then pop it instantly with high enough damage that it does not pop into children). However, by index rules, this counts as a category 2 bug (specific tower/bloon interaction that does not break the game) so I am allowing it. You will notice I have 251K spent cash at the end when you're normally supposed to only have about 179K.
Q: Was this run hard?
A: Yes, definitely, although the planning was probably more annoying than the execution.
Q: What were the hardest rounds?
A: Basically any round with regrow ceramics or regrow fortified ceramics because it took annoying mortar micro to take full advantage of the bug. This required 13 damage on every ceramic (or 23 for fortified ceramics) which was quite annoying especially because 230 mortar is not accurate.
Q: Why do you have a ring of fire?
A: Because it does 7 base damage, 8 with the damage tile, and 9 with pickle. This allows it to instakill rainbows and below and also beat ceramics in exactly two hits without spawning children. I believe this is the cheapest tower that reliably takes advantage of the bug.
Q: Why do you have two submerged subs and a random glue gunner?
A: The bottom sub and glue was for earlygame. To trigger the bug, I basically could have no sources of damage other than the things that are causing the bug and the things that are popping the regrows. The top left sub was because geraldo's camo potions don't last long enough so that both mortars can hit on r67 and r74. It looks dumb but I'm pretty sure this was my cheapest option. Waiting until the middle to decamo would give the ceramics too little time to regrow back fully before reaching the tack shooter.
Q: How did you beat these rounds?
A: I'll represent the damage of all mortars in the format d/cd/fcd where
d = base damage
cd = ceramic damage
fcd = fortified ceramic damage
I used Geraldo's glue to glue every regrow ceramic. The 031 mortar has 2/5/6 damage (3/6/7 with pickle) and the 230 mortar on the damage tile has 4/7/8 damage (5/8/9 with pickle). I locked the 031 mortar on a pixel perfect target on the ceramic rounds to get exactly one shot on every ceramic when glued.
Here's what I did for each round
r59-74: pickled 031 mortar, unpickled 230 mortar, one shot from each on ceramics (6 from 031 + 7 from 230 = 13), one shot from 031 and two shots from 230 for fortified ceramics (7 from 031 + 2 * 8 from 230 = 23).
r76: unpickled 031 mortar, pickled 230 mortar - this order switch is because pickled 031 mortar might be too slow to get one shot on every ceramic (I didn't actually test the other combination, but the one I used worked). I also used two glues and four totems this round because otherwise ring of fire gets overwhelmed.
I bought dark knight in the 50s so it was not discounted. This is because buying it under discount would trap it in the center, interfering with the regrow bug. I used Geraldo's camo potion on round 80 to give dark knight enough range to reach the discount tile and then bought dark champion.
Q: Is this optimized?
A: It's pretty optimized but I wouldn't be surprised if someone was able to buy it on r99 with better cash bugging. It seemed like everything came together to just barely allow this run to be possible.
Q: Is this possible on Polyphemus?
A: I really doubt it because the map is really hard and regrow bugging will be nearly impossible with a cheap setup. You also need arctic wind so I doubt it's actually that much cheaper.
