Alex looks at the core sounds of Kick & Snare and shares his tips for setting up the template project file to increase your speed of writing while maintaining that strong mixdown result. He then shows how to design Tom drums, hats and percussion to flesh out the beat in a way that is easy to mix and balance later.
Kick 2, Superior Drummer, Addictive Drums, Serum and mainly Ableton stock plugins are the main tools at hand.
A really nice 80 minute lesson, superbly presented with his ideas articulated in such a way that there is something here for producers of all levels 🔥🔥🔥
