Next up we have a rising star of the nu-school back again to share with you some fresh techniques, knowledge & inspiration 🔥
Working with Visla on this next tutorial we knew we wanted to cover quite a broad range of of idea. We decided breaking down two different tracks was the perfect way to do this; and good timing for this season’s videos.
First, looking at his most recent release: the infectious ‘Rattlesnake’ released on Critical. He analyzes all aspects of the track: from how each were made, to the mix and arrangement
For the second tune: he dives in on his absolutely banging remix of ‘Pattern’ by YAANO & Wings. This tune has had heavy rotation by many in the scene so to see it dissected is a cool moment for SG.
In the final video section: he covers some new and versatile software for the first time on Sample Genie. Phase Plant is an exciting new semi-modular synthesiser by Kilohearts. Visla explains why he’s moved over from Serum to this and exactly what all the hype is about.
He shows how synthetic snares are easilly designed entirely inside it and also how modern basses can be built from scratch.
