Cod fillet with potatoes in the oven - a Portuguese fish recipe - Bacalhau no forno à la portuguesa. The quantities are for 4 people.
Ingredients
1000 g peeled potatoes - cut into 1 cm slices
1000 g cod fillet
150 g black or green olives
10 garlic cloves - peeled
5 leaves of fresh sage - or dried sage
5 sprigs of fresh thyme - or dried thyme
2 large onions cut into thin rings
a few tablespoons of olive oil - according to your taste
To season we need salt - pepper and paprika (smoked) -
You can use the amount of spices according to your taste.
The potatoes and onions are baked in the oven for 30 minutes at 185°C.
The second time you bake the fish for 20 minutes at 185°C.
