Run Jenkins job Automatically (Webhook):
There are 2 steps that need to be followed to run the jenkins build automatically. I have used Webhook in this video to run jenkins job automatically.
First configure the job, go to build triggers and select the Github hook trigger for GITScm polling and save it.

Now, go to the github repository, go to setting, go to webhook and now add the jenkins url and port number in the payload url and also add /github-webhook/ in the payload url and save it.

Now, take a clone of github repository and change the file and push the changes and one you push the change, our jenkins job will run automatically.

This way job can be run automatically on push or commit in repository.

Now, you have become familiar with the jenkins dashboard.
