Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce Recipe
This is a sweet, spicy, citrusy sauce I use for fried chicken. It also goes great with noodle salad, smashed cucumber salad, and fresh rolls or egg rolls.
Smashed cucumber salad using this sauce
• Red Chili and Cucumber Salad
The recipe for this sauce:
Juice and Zest of 2 limes
2-3 tbs of honey
Cilantro stems chopped finely
1-2 chili peppers sliced thinly
1 clove of garlic
1/2" of chopped ginger
1 tsp vegetable oil
Pinch of Salt
Optional: fish sauce and/or soy sauce. Sambal Olek is also great in addition to fresh chilis or replacing it.
