Hey Social Workers!
In this video I cover MORE things to expect in your Social Work career. These are the things that you may not be told when you are first coming into the profession. AND these things may be a determining factor in the type of Social Work you want to pursue. Being a Social Worker requires skills as a teacher, facilitator, problem solver, advocate and listener. You have to be able to honestly assess your own skills to determine if this profession is right for you.
Some of you are enrolled in a Social Work program, MSW or BSW, or you have been in your social work career for a long time...either way, as society changes, so does your role as a Social Worker. The goal as I always say, is to be prepared to pivot when you discover that you are ready to take a different path and are step into new opportunities coming your way...that includes the opportunities that you are working to create for yourself as an entrepreneur!
