SALE NOT ALLOWED? Walmart Can't Sell You This Controversial PS5 Game!
Sony has been under some scrutiny lately for one of their games that was delayed for the longest time, released, and now they've been telling people that it's going to be taken offline. I'm of course talking about Concord. I haven't really followed this story very closely, but I wanted to see if, during a trip to our local Walmart if they had any copies and if I would be able to buy it. Let's take a look at my attempt to purchase the last copy of Concord in this store and why this sale was not allowed
Upon going through the game section for the PlayStation 5 in electronics I found one lonely little copy of Concord. I talked to one of the associates behind the counter and asked if he would be willing to help me with an experiment. I explained the situation and to his credit he was actually very familiar with it being canceled. I asked if he'd be willing to let me see if I could check out with it, and he was totally cool with it.
Upon opening up the glass case and grabbing the disc, we went to the register to try to check out. As soon as he scanned it, and alert popped up on the register that told him the game could not be sold. It was kind of a bummer and I think this is going to be one of those oddity sort of titles that, sealed, maybe worth something down the road. But if you actually want to play the game, you've got yourself a coaster cuz it's completely worthless.
