You WISH You Had Adria's Halloween Costume From Stargate (Dial the Gate)
COSTUME DESIGNER Valerie Halverson is responsible for much of the look of Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe. She joined the franchise during SG-1's final season, and clocked nearly 100 episode credits through the end of SGU. If a member of the team wore it, Valerie probably had a hand in creating the look.
"Dial the Gate" host David Read caught up with Valerie live at GATECON: The Celebration in September. She brought along some of her sketches for Adria (Morena Baccarin) and Vala Mal Doran (Claudia Black), including memorable outfits featured in the episode "Dominion" and the movie "Stargate: The Ark of Truth" – including that flaming dress Adria sported after she ascended.
