As of 4/4/2017, Legion Assaults will now appear for 6 hour periods around the zones of the Broken Isles. This particular video covers the entirety of the Azsuna invasion. When a Legion Assault is active, you will be able to see it from the Broken Isles map, as well as the zone map in which the assault in taking place. A number of world quests will appear within this zone. As you enter the zone, you will receive a quest known as "Assault on Azsuna," which requires you to complete 4 of these assault-related world quests that can be found in Azsuna. Once you have completed 4, head to Shackle's Den in southern Azsuna. From here, head south towards the Temple of a Thousand Lights, where you will find Prince Farondis before reaching the bridge. He will then offer the quest "Presence of Power." Head south to the courtyard in front of the Temple of a Thousand Lights, where you will need to defeat demons in the area to fill your progress bar to 100%. Elite demons are worth more progress than non-elite demons. You can also right-click floating green Energy Crystals in the area to receive progress. Once the progress bar is filled, you will need to defeat Portal-Keeper V'thaal, who can be found in the circular courtyard immediately in front of the Temple of a Thousand Lights. Next, head inside of the temple to the south and take the stairs that lead to the left when you reach the fork. At the bottom of the steps, a floating eye demon named Zor'thaduun will be found; kill it. Then, head out of the Temple of a Thousand Lights to the west up the ascending path towards the elite area above the temple. Speak with Prince Farondis to turn in "Presence of Power" and to receive "A Conduit No More." Speak again with Prince Farondis and select the dialog speech bubble option to take flight on a hippogryph. Your (1) ability, known as Overload Energy will need to be used on a green ball of energy found at the top of a tower your hippogryph will circle. You (2) ability can be used to ward off fel bats, should they swarm, you. The hippogryph will automatically take you north to Farondale once you have destroyed the green energy spot. Speak with Prince Farondis in Farondale to turn in "A Conduit No More" and to receive "Battle for Azsuna," which requires the completion of a scenario. You can queue for the scenario, known as Turn Back the Tides: Azsuna, by speaking with Prince Farondis. Once inside, you will need to defeat demons to fill your progress bar to 100% for Stage 1. Demons will automatically spawn, but you can expedite this process by actively attacking others. For Stage 2, head northwest to find azure drakes that can be right-clicked to go for a ride. You will then be taken to a Legion ship above the Ley-Ruins of Zarkhenar. Once here, avoid fire walls that are generated out of the wall on your left, and avoid Fel Imps that charge towards you (they will have a circle around them and are explosive). Once you reach the top landing of the ship, you will need to defeat Felweaver Axtris. When engaged, the Fel Imps will stop spawning. Once Felweaver Axtris is defeated, proceed to defeat Xeritas. This enemy has 2 notable abilities: (1) Scorching Swipe, which deals damage to players in front of him (side step this) and (2) Cataclysmic Force Nova, which will knock players who do not move away from him off of the ship. Once he is defeated, you will be able to mount the azure drakes once more and a short cutscene will ensue showing the destruction of the Legion ship. You will then be teleported to the Crumbling Palace, where the quest can be turned in to Prince Farondis. Completion of this scenario quest will offer progress for the "Defending Broken Isles" Legionfall Campaign quest. Note that other zones will also offer progress for this achievement. This assault is also required for the Defender of the Broken Isles achievement, which is required for Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part Two.
