Today, I’m introducing a special roll cake with a unique caramel candy flavor. The sweet and rich taste comes from a smooth whipped cream filled with powdered caramel. The roll cake is made with a hot oil batter. The tangzhong dough(cooked dough method) results in a softer, more moist, and tender texture compared to regular dough. Ingredients

♥︎ Roll Cake Sheet (28x28cm)
5 egg yolks (60g)
50g vegetable oil
65g cake flour
55g milk
5 egg whites (164g)
55g sugar

♥︎ Caramel Powder
80g sugar (you’ll only need a small amount)
2g cornstarch

♥︎ Caramel Whipped Cream
100g whipping cream
13~15g caramel powder
