David (Tequan Richmond) is running from a horrifying truth — behind him lies a murder, dangerous con-men are on his trail, and in his backpack is a mix of cash and crystal meth. With no clear plan and little hope, he heads north, trying to escape both his pursuers and his own guilt.
His path leads him to a forgotten town in the frozen heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. There, among the snow and silent locals, David tries to blend in and find refuge. But even in this “nowhere” place, the past won’t let go — danger looms closer, and the townspeople prove to be more complex than they seem.
Tension builds as secrets begin to surface, and David is faced with a choice: keep running, or finally stop and fight. Nowhere Michigan is a story of redemption, survival, and the harsh truth that even in the most remote corners of the world, you can't escape from yourself.
