How to backup your google drive or dropbox using Microsoft's File History on Windows 10?
Hi my name is Roger Ahuja and I’m going to take a couple of minutes and show you how to backup your google drive or dropbox using microsoft’s file history to an external hard drive. I want to start by showing you my computer here and there’s dropbox and there’s a folder. Now I’m going to go to File History and if I go to restore personal files, it’s not in here. Now Microsoft automatically backs up your one drive folder in Windows 10. They don’t do this in Windows 8 as far as I know. So now what we want to do is we also want to backup your dropbox or google drive. And the way you would do that is by adding that folder to your library. So you right click on it and you go to include in library and I’m going to add it to the documents library and now you can see it down here in libraries it’s here and if I go back to file history I’m just going to run it real quick make sure it makes a backup of my files. Okay so now that it’s finished running if I go to restore personal files and look under documents and there’s the same testing folder that’s up here in Dropbox and the same files that are in there and that’s it.
