Stefon Diggs dug his own grave by FORCING trade from Buffalo Bills
Stefon Diggs bet on himself this offseason, and he lost his wager.
The veteran suffered a season-ending knee injury in week 8, after forcing his way out of Buffalo this offseason, when he was traded to Houston in April.
After being dealt to the Texans, the Bills were forced to take on a dead cap charge of $31M and Diggs restructured his deal with a new team.
Stefon’s restructured deal wiped out the remaining years on his past extension with the Bills and it became a “prove it” type of pact.
At 30 years old, Diggs is now set to become a free agent after the 2024 season and he’ll be looking to land a new deal after suffering an unfortunate injury.
Diggs made a bet on himself, and it appears he lost that wager from a financial standpoint in a business driven league.
