Buffalo Bills TRADE for Amari Cooper from Cleveland Browns
The Buffalo Bills made a splash move on Tuesday, trading for Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns.
In the deal, Buffalo acquired Cooper, along with a sixth round draft selection while sending a third and seventh rounder to Cleveland. Cooper is a 30-year-old star wideout who has had seven seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards to go with five Pro Bowl selections. Through six games in 2024, he’s hauled in 24 receptions for 250 yards and nine touchdowns, also leading the NFL in drops with nine.
The five-time Pro Bowler carries a low base salary against Buffalo’s cap space, and he’s set to hit free agency after the 2024 season.
By adding Cooper from Cleveland, the Bills get a difference maker that will make an instant impact for a struggling offensive unit in Buffalo.
