This also shows how using Tears In The Rain at the end of Blade Runner 2049 was a strange choice, as in the original it is a dreamy romantic reworking of the main theme used throughout the film, whereas in Blade Runner 2049 it is the first time we hear the original theme. And arguably the first time we hear a true melody in the whole film.
