The channel is back! Why it stopped and what's next.
Hey everyone, happy to be back! But what happened to the channel? A lot of things, to be honest. I started a new business that took a lot of time. We had a 3rd boy (yay!) and I didn't quite have "character" energy for YouTube.
In my mind, the "bullet journal guy" character had to do certain things for a video, and a lot of times I wasn't doing those things personally. I didn't think I could be the me that I was over the past 18 months. That's all kinda silly in retrospect — but that's how the mind works sometimes.
Going forward, I'll be sharing more of the "Matt" I am now. Less about the character and more about the man, husband, father, and creator. There will still be notebooks, bullet journals, and planning — but it won't be the character based creator I was before.
Hope you still like it, but what I'm most excited about is that even if no one likes it, I really want to make videos again. And in the end, that's the best way to start anything. Because I want to and it's fun. Thanks for watching!
