Lighting is one of the most powerful tools you have in game development. Godot has an amazing lighting system so I thought it would be helpful to break it down and explain how to create lighting here in Godot 4. We will cover a variety of lighting nodes including the LightOccluder2D, PointLight2D, DirectionalLight2D, WorldEnvironment Node, as well as why lighting is so important and lighting tips that you really should keep in mind.
