Unreal Engine 5 - McLaren Car Configurator
I've finally found some time between my current projects to record an update of my personal UE5 car configurator project. It's still a Work In Progress, but is slowly at a state where I'm very happy with the results!
So far, I think I spent around 4-5 weeks on this project, on/off between client projects (most of the time, banging my head against the wall, trying to figure out Blueprint).
As a quick recap - I set out to learn UE5 a few months ago and decided to create a car configurator as my first project.
At the time, I didnt know how big of a challenge I had set myself up for, but I've learned so many new techniques and skills that I can say for sure, it was more than worth it!

Upcoming tasks:
Finish Interior displays + buttons (if anyone knows where I can find textures of the real McLaren UI, please let me know!)
Raytrace Render button. This is technically already added and implemented, and the UI button also already exists. however, this feature currently causes an instant engine crash. I believe this feature is currently unstable due to being in Alpha, and I've found others have reported the same issue. I'm using this documentation as reference.
