Todd and Ryan are asked how to coach a new Product Owner without knowledge of Scrum. They recommend sending the Product Owner to their free Scrum Framework 101 course on YouTube to get a good grounding in Scrum. Once the Product Owner has learned the mechanics of Scrum, the speaker suggests discussing how every aspect of Scrum can help the Product Owner develop, create, release, and turn a profit on a product. They also recommend focusing on the three V's of product ownership: Vision, Value, and Validation. They suggest building a clear vision, understanding value propositions, managing stakeholders, and validating the product through scientific methods. Ryan emphasized the importance of building a good relationship with the Product Owner and being a great partner.
