The Xbox Platform Notice is a joke... On Sunday, Xbox sent a message to most gamertags about a situation that they entered into a settlement with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC). And it basically emphasizes on kid safety on Xbox...like if people aren't getting banned for no reason. Or how kids on Xbox get scammed out of their accounts, but they don't do anything about it.
I always have mixed feelings when Xbox tries to impress any important figures or companies, like the FTC, to show them that they care about security and safety on Xbox. Meanwhile, the Xbox Enforcement Team does not even try banning the people who ruin the Xbox service with the opposite of what Xbox is trying to convey. Xbox, are you sure you care about the security and safety of others? Or do you only care about the money they give you? If you stuck to actually caring about Xbox security and safety, your pockets would get filled up faster. Instead, you're losing loyal customers because you allow the Xbox Live Enforcement Team to ban them for no reason, yet you emphasize on security and safety...
Xbox entered a settlement with the FTC, and now there are allegations that Xbox was collecting data from kids. They're not denying this, but ever since the FTC got involved, they are NOW emphasizing on making child accounts and helping them be more secure because the FTC is watching.
