For the very best quality of homemade ketchup, I recommend using regional organic products - but of course this is not a must. 📋 INGREDIENTS:
Ingredients:
1 onion
5 cloves of garlic
olive oil
3 kg tomatoes (6.6 lbs)
1 apple
150 ml apple cider vinegar (2/3 cup)
1 tbsp tomato paste
75 ml brown sugar (1/3 cup)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp whole cloves
5 cardamom pods
Nutmeg (grated, to taste)
1 stick cinnamon
2 tsp sweet paprika
Black pepper (freshly ground, to taste)
1 bay leaf
Oven convection mode 150 °C (300 °F) for 30-35 minutes
