Far Cry 3 in VR - Virtual Reality Gameplay - VR Vorpx Profile
Far Cry 3 is considered by many to be the best Far Cry game ever BUT will it VR? As always I'll be pushing the game into virtual reality using my Oculus Rift S and the Vorpx software... Let's see how well it goes!
Using my trusty Oculus Rift S and the Vorpx software I was able to run Far Cry 3 in VR but it wasn't without it's issues. Some strange conflict between the headset, direct VR scan, my controller & mouse made certain elements difficult to enjoy & the age of the game really shows through when it's that close to your eyeballs! Overall it's a playable experience and technically Far Cry 3 will VR... but if you're looking to jump into a Far Cry VR experience you may need to tinker with the settings to get it just right.
The Vorpx profile used in this video is the official Vorpx profile for Far Cry 3, make sure you set the FOV to max in game before trying this yourself to get the very best & most comfortable experience.
