Autumn at Kebler Pass, Colorado | Scenic Drive with Secret Stops
Kebler Pass, Colorado is one of the most scenic roads to take in autumn. From Crested Butte to Somerset, CO, Kebler Pass takes you through remote mountainous terrain luckily accessible by any passenger car. The aspen tree fall foliage, towering peaks of the Rocky mountains and breathtaking landscape views are unbeatable.
In this video, we show some of our footage from a one-day road trip we took at the end of September. We started from Avon, CO (near Vail). Then headed to Gilman, Leadville, Cottonwood pass through Taylor park. We also stopped by at Crested Butte to catch some autumn views there. Afterwards, we drove through Kebler Pass.

Kebler pass is about 31 miles long. But, due to being a dirt/gravel road, it takes about 1.5 hours to complete it. Also, watch for heavy rain a few days before your planned trip. Kebler Pass can turn into a muddy mash that may not be fun to drive on.
