The biggest advantage with the RX100, is that it's so small, and easy to use.
So, how what about all the other technical stuff?

an image stabilizer
And even a built-in ND-filter.
All of this makes gives me a lot more creative freedom. Instead of doing everything manually, I can move freely - and better concentrate about the filming itself.

VO: Of course, if you want to, you can have full manual control. You can use the lens ring to focus manually, and the wheel to adjust different settings.

It really is an amazing camera, and it got everything I want in a small package.

You can even charge it with a regular phone charger!

One thing I need to mention though, is the price. Currently, it costs about 1200 dollars. For a camera nerd like me, I think it's worth it. But if you're looking for a more affordable alternative, the RX100 mark 1 and 2, are still really good cameras.

But the reason I got the RX100, was to use it as a secondary hobby camera. For hobby projects and YouTube videos, where the video is compressed anyway - this is probably one of the best alternatives.
And best of all, I can easily take it with me, anywhere!
