During the KCB Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally 2009, A driver, Riyaz Kurji and his co-driver, Sayed Kadri, would lose control and go off the road possibly due them trying to avoid a antelope on the road, the Subaru Impreza N8, would roll several time then crash roof first violently into a huge tree, Riyaz Kurji would escape the wreckage with serious injuries, only to collapse and die, Sayed Kadri sustained minor injuries.
