17-year-old Joe Salmon jumped into the water to save Thomas Lee and his dog Cooper who were trapped with the help of Corey McConnell, Kody Harrelson, Cody Chester and Chris Parks.
"I'm happy that he was OK and the dog was OK. It was just crazy at the time," the Okoboji High School student said. "I've never done anything like that."
