Couple Tracey Bermingham and Tony Shepherd have been gradually transforming their garden for more than a decade.
The giant Foxglove tree dominating the front garden, with huge clumps of banana plants and bamboo, gives visitors a hint at what's hiding around the back of the semi-detached Victorian house in Stafford Road, Monton.
Recently members of the general public have been paying to explore the garden themselves after the couple agreed to open it up as part of the National Garden Scheme, which raises money for nursing and health charities through admissions, teas and cake.
Their opening last month raised £1,700 and proved so popular that they've planned another one for this Saturday, September 7.
The opening - with limited refreshments and plant sales - takes place this Saturday from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. Entry is £5 for adults and children go free. Address is 28 Stafford Road, Monton, M30 9HW. DB Garden Nurseries in Hyde has donated a huge amount of plants to help with the fundraising.
