Government to review gig tickets after Oasis ticket surge pricing
The government has confirmed action is being taken on concert ticket pricing after Oasis tickets caused outrage at the weekend
Many were stuck in a queue for hours before their chance to buy tickets came up on Saturday.
And when they got through, some fans saw ‘surge pricing’ had been implemented on ticketing website Ticketmaster.
Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has hit out at 'depressing' surge pricing which charged Oasis fans more than double the standard price for tickets.
Tickets for Oasis’ Heaton Park gig more than doubled - from £148 to £355.
