Pokemon Go is still alive and going strong! And just as you thought that Niantic forgot about you, they surprise us once again. The preparations to unleash Generation 2 Pokemon are under way, but you already can get a rare Generation 2 creature that cannot be caught in the wild.
As you know, Generation 2 babies were released in the egg during the Christmas of 2016. You can develop all of them to a familiar Generation 1 Pokemon, with one exception. Togepi, the famous Pokemon in the egg that Misty was carrying around in the animated series, can be developed into a rare Togetic Pokemon!
For that, you need about 2-3 eggs that spawn Togepi. Naturally, you can’t control what you get in those eggs. So another way to get a Generation 2 Pokemon in Pokemon Go is to make Togepi your buddy and what with it around, just like Misty did! Although it’s a 5 km egg Pokemon, you need to walk 5 km for 1 candy. With some patience and a lot of walking, you can eventually get 50 candies and evolve Togepi to the never seen before Togetic.
It is generally assumed that the summer of 2017 will see the revival of Pokemon Go, with dozens of new Generation 2 Pokemon roaming the streets and parks. However, you can be ahead of the curve and get your own rare specimen today. Evolve it, make it stronger, fight with it in the gyms and show it off by placing in the gym.
