Man connected to DC officer's accidental shooting death appears in court
The man accused of throwing a weapon into a storm drain in D.C., leading to the accidental shooting death of Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Officer Wayne David, has been arrested, according to police.
Officials told 7News that Tyrell Bailey, 27, turned himself into police around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 7th District. He's been arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm.
