Difference between RAW and JPEG in Photography

In photography then there are two formats that photographers do shoot with these being RAW and JPEG, the difference between these two files is that RAW is much bigger and contains much more information that the standard JPEG file.

RAW files are great for certain editing programs which can read RAW files as they allow the editing program more access to camera information, which means that you can more accurately edit the image better with a RAW file.
